Stollery Snowflake Gala - The Alpha Rhythmic Gymnastics Club partnered with Firefly Theatre to present a “Northern Lights” performance at the Stollery Snowflake Gala. Nick Lees of the Edmonton Journal wrote, "There was literally magic in the air at the Shaw Conference Centre, transformed into a winterwonderland, when Firefly Theatre artists gave a Cirque-esque performance overhead. Alberta ballet dancers pirouetted, magician Kent Wong did the impossible and the Alpha Rhythmic Gymnastics team executed like Olympians." The Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation raised more than $793,000 at its annual Snowflake event.
