Respect in Sport Program
The Respect in Sport program for Coaches and Activity Leaders provides in-depth information on the subjects of bullying, abuse, harassment and neglect in a convenient, on-line, and easy to comprehend manner. The Competitive Development Committee and the RGA Board of Directors have passed a new motion that addresses the need to protect everyone from these issues through improved education. In order to meet the requirements of the new motion all coaches will have to take the on-line Respect in Sport modules. As of October 15th, 2011 ALL coaches must have their Respect in Sport training completed in order to be registered with RGA and be properly insured.

GENERAL: If you have questions regarding the Respect in Sport curriculum, please consult the Course instructions, HELP and FAQ buttons in the upper left section of the main program page.
Please ensure you have speakers and/or headset attached to your computer and that they are turned on. Open your internet browser and go to http://www.respectinsport.com/gymnasticscanada
New Users:
1. Click on the button, "New Registration"2. VERY IMPORTANT STEP: On the page, which opens, choose the appropriate province from the Drop Down menu labelled "Choose a Province". This drop down menu is found in the upper left hand corner of the page, directly below the Respect in Sport logo.
3. Complete the fields in the centre of the page: Please note the user name and password are case specific/case sensitive. For the Organization Code, enter the code gymcan
4. Make sure you enter your actual date of birth. This is a critical data element as it may be used in the future to restore your username or password should you forget them.
5. Once you have clicked submit and all information has been accepted, you will be taken directly to the main page of the course curriculum
Returning Users:
1. Enter your username and password. Click submit 2. To return to where you left off in the course, click on the first module and/or section button without checkmarks in them.
