Safe Sport

In alignment with Gymnastics Canada, RGA embraces our responsibility to create, foster and preserve sport settings, that ensure positive, safe and fulfilling experience for all individuals. We believe that a Safe Sport environment prioritizes the welfare, safety and rights of the participant at all times.

What is Safe Sport?

Safe Sport refers to a set of policies, procedures, and initiatives aimed at creating a safe and inclusive environment in sports, free from abuse, harassment, and discrimination.

Report a Safe Sport Incident
In partnership with Alberta Sport Leadership, RGA has adopted the new Alberta Safe Sport Complaint Mechanism. This process ensures complaints are considered by our external partner, ALIAS.

If you would like to make a complaint that is not related to abuse or maltreatment, please email RGA with the details of the complaint.  

NEW ALBERTA SAFE SPORT COMPLAINT MECHANISM (ABSSCM) TO REPORT MISCONDUCT OR OTHER SERIOUS CONCERNS

Individuals across all levels of Rhythmic Gymnastics in Alberta have the right to participate in a sport environment free from abuse, harassment, and discrimination.

Anyone who witnesses or experiences inappropriate behavior in our organization's environment can report it in complete confidentiality.

Report a Complaint or Incident

IF A CHILD OR YOUTH IS IN IMMEDIATE DANGER OR RISK, CALL 911 OR YOUR LOCAL POLICE.

Contact your local authorities if you have a reasonable suspicion that a child or youth is a victim of any form of abuse or neglect. Reports of abuse or neglect not involving a minor may also be reported to local authorities.
