We believe that a Safe Sport environment prioritizes the welfare, safety and rights of the participant at all times.
Safe Sport refers to a set of policies, procedures, and initiatives aimed at creating a safe and inclusive environment in sports, free from abuse, harassment, and discrimination.

Individuals across all levels of Rhythmic Gymnastics in Alberta have the right to participate in a sport environment free from abuse, harassment, and discrimination.
If you are concerned about the welfare of a child, youth, or other participant, please report your concerns: safesport.rga@gmail.com
Contact your local authorities if you have a reasonable suspicion that a child or youth is a victim of any form of abuse or neglect. Reports of abuse or neglect not involving a minor may also be reported to local authorities.
Safe Sport education equips coaches, judges and athletes with knowledge to recognize abuse, fostering a culture of awareness.
Proactive measures like background checks and training programs create a secure environment prioritizing athlete well-being.
